MARÍA JESÚS GODOY

(PhD in Aesthetics and Theory of Arts) is associate professor of Aesthetics at the University of Seville (SPAIN). She is a member of the Executive Commitee of the Spanish Society of Aesthetics and Theory of Arts (SEyTA) since its foundation in 2014. She is also in the editorial board of Laocoonte. Revista de Estética y Teoría de las Artes. As a member of the Spanish research group CREARESGEN, she is currently part of two main research projects, one on Andalusian women artisans and designers and the other, on contemporary skepticism and artistic illustration. Her research focuses on these fields: aesthetics of everyday life, aesthetics of negative emotions, aesthetics and gender, and aesthetics and mass art.
